Sadly, after 126 years, the time has come to close our doors.

Our closing service will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at 10 a.m. While there will be sadness, it will also be a time to celebrate the life and legacy of our church. Brian Wallace, Associate Minister for Emerging Ministries of Presbytery, will be moderating and preaching.

While we will all grieve the loss of our cherished church, nothing can change the history of all the love within our church and the difference everyone who passed through our doors has made in our community as disciples of Christ.

We hope that if you were a member, attended any programs, enjoyed a Strawberry Festival, or just visited one Sunday, that you felt the love, grace, mercy, and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Please know you are welcome to join us for one more worship service as we say goodbye to our church in this building.

As we look forward, we know God is with us wherever we go. The Verona community will always be in our hearts and prayers.
