We gather weekly on Sundays for worship, food and fellowship. Because of who you are, and where you are on life’s journey – You are welcome here! Zwingli UCC is a small country church, with a BIG heart and strong sense of place. We are an Open and Affirming congregation that includes, welcomes, and has LGBTQ+ people in our community. Our mission is one of Wonder, Worship, Welcome and Service insid
e and outside in the spirit of Jesus Christ. We worship every Sunday at 10:15 A.M. We share the bread of life, and cup of healing for Communion where everyone whether a member, new friend, child, or elder is welcome to participate. Kids are welcome in our worship service to be wiggly, giggly, and their young selves. We are a part of the United Church of Christ that believes we have a diversity of beliefs, experiences, and understandings of Christianity and spirituality. (www.ucc.org)
Come early at 9:00 A.M. for our scripture group where we share about our unique response to the readings of the day and share about our lives over coffee. After worship we have a potluck and share in food and fellowship. Beyond Sunday morning we pray with each other, fill up the little food library in the parking lot of our church, play music, work in our community garden, share food, and have fun. We are a Creation Justice church which means we have deep roots to the land, the wider community and all creatures who live here. We are disciples creating a church to be a Growing Place, Gathering Place, and Healing Place in God’s love. We covenant with each other, the community around us, and the larger church to continue to expand our use of sustainable practices, stewardship of the land and education on the care of the earth.
