Looking for a new book to read — and some great conversation along the way? Come join St. Augustine’s Monthly Book Club!

We’ll read a variety of fiction and nonfiction and gather on the first Wednesday of each month to share thoughts, ideas, and fellowship.

Our first meeting: Wednesday, October 7
6:30–7:30 PM
Parish Library

Our first selection is Dear Edward by Ann Napolitano.

Copies will be available beginning September 1. If you’d like a copy, please contact the organizer by text at (989) 860-0284. Through our local library’s “Books in a Bag” program, we can provide copies for participants to borrow for two weeks.

Discussion facilitators will rotate each month, with Marilyn Black-Dussault, Donna Griffin, Father Tyler, and the organizer taking turns leading the conversation.

September POPS Fund Campaign has begun.

The POPS Fund was established by an anonymous donor who donates $10,000 annually. This donor is also willing to match parishioner donations up to an additional $5,000. This fund provides critical support to local outreach organizations to carry out their charitable missions, empowering them to purchase needed equipment, make repairs and support capital expenditures, often on an emergency basis.

Please pick up your POPS envelopes in the Narthex or send your check directly to the church. You may donate by writing a check to St. Augustine's and writing POPS Fund on the memo line. You may also donate online through the Church Center app under POPS Fund.

The Evening Bible Study resumes this Tuesday, September 8th at 6:30PM in the library continuing the study of the Book of Matthew.

Connections Bible Study, St. Augustine's weekly Bible Study ministry just for women, resumes this Tuesday, September 8th at 9:30AM in the library. This session will run through Tuesday, November 24. We will be studying the book of Acts, also called the Acts of the Apostles. The book of Acts serves as a transition of the ministry of the Holy Spirit from the Old Covenant to the New.

We will be using the “Knowing the Bible Series.” The study from this series was written by our own Bishop Justin Holcomb.
