𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗼𝗻-𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘀

O Good Shepherd, you never cease to
seek out the lost, to call home the stray,
to comfort the frightened, and to bind up
the wounded. I ask you to bring..(names)
back to the practice of the Faith,
and to remove all obstacles that prevent
them from receiving your abundant mercy,
which flows sacramentally through
the heart of your holy Church.
Through the intercession of Mary,
the Mother of God, their Guardian Angels,
their Patron Saints and the ever-prayerful
St. Monica, may you pardon their sins
and unshackle them from whatever
hinders their freedom to come Home.
For you, O Good Shepherd, have loved us
to the end and offered yourself to the
Father for the salvation of all.

Recently the Advancement Foundation recognized parishioners from the Northwest Deanery with the Light Of Christ Award. Honored from our 3 parishes were:
St Joseph: Ruby Manny. Father Phil stated that not only does Ruby faithfully attend Mass, she helps the parish in many ways. She richly deserves this award.
St Mary: Leora Aaron. I can always count on Leora to help even though she is a busy woman being the postmistress of Hardeman County. If it wasn’t for her my job as pastor would be much more difficult stated Fr Phil.
Holy Family: Maria Granados. Maria leads by deed and example in her quiet and prayerful manner.
If you see these honorees doing their thing in your parish let them know he w much they are appreciated.

Hi Holy Family Of Nazareth Catholic Church,
I work with CIEE, a high school exchange program that places international students with local host families. We're looking for welcoming homes for the 2026-27 school year in Vernon and surrounding areas, and I'm reaching out to local churches because your congregation is full of exactly the kind of caring, community-minded people who make wonderful host families.
Here are three students hoping to find a home:
Davi, 15, from Brazil. An enthusiastic reader who loves literature and philosophy and often spends his free time with a book. A devoted Christian whose faith is an important part of his life, he would love to keep attending services during his time in the US. He also volunteers with underprivileged children back home and loves working with kids. Cheerful, supportive, and athletic. Strong student with a 3.7 GPA.
Jiramet, 15, from Thailand. A curious, dedicated student who loves English and learning and plays a little guitar. He has lived with host families abroad before, and hopes to become a doctor. Gentle and caring, especially with animals. GPA 3.4.
Patricia, 17, from Moldova. A standout student (3.9 GPA) drawn to chemistry and a future in medicine. A devoted Christian, she loves a good chess match and family meals where everyone puts their phones away just to talk. Sharp, adaptable, and open-minded.

On June 11, in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States, the U.S. bishops will consecrate the United States of America to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. All are encouraged to join the bishops in celebrating the consecration of our nation to the Sacred Heart.
