Presiding Bishop Yehiel Curry has released a statement on the shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego.

“As the ELCA, we must speak plainly: violence rooted in hatred is sin. We condemn Islamophobia and acknowledge its rise in recent years. Our church affirms that “anti-Muslim hatred is antithetical to our Christian faith” (A Declaration of the ELCA to the Muslim Community), for we are called to love our neighbor in ways that cast out fear (1 John 4:18).”

The labyrinth at Trinity is a beautiful place to slow down, unplug, and spend some time our Creator. You may even have a chance to speak peace to our resident bunny.

We were never meant to live in constant *awareness* of so many problems and worries. We are more connected than any other humans in history, but we are also more anxious and agitated. It’s good to give yourself rest from the noise and replenish. ♥️ ~ Nanea

Our incredibly talented quilters have transformed our sanctuary with a gorgeous kaleidoscope of color. These quilts will be on display for the next three weeks.

On June 7, we will bless them and send them off to Lutheran World Relief to be distributed to those in need.
