The purpose of the Vernon United Methodist Church is to be an all-inclusive community of caring Christians, guided by God's Holy Word and who, by our worship, fellowship, service, mission and conduct, will promote the acceptance of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. OUR CORE VALUES & VISIONS:
We believe that worship is primary- praising God as we experience God's love for us, rejoic

ing with people ready to hear God's word as it relates to life's experiences, and responding with thanksgiving, prayer and song. We believe in the importance of a caring fellowship-praying together, sharing our mutual concerns, learning together, working together, having fun together, and growing together in grace and love. We believe in serving others- discerning and meeting not only the material, but also the spiritual and emotional needs of people' whether in the Vernon congregation or in the "world" and sharing our building and its facilities with the needy in the community at large. We believe our mission is to spread the good news of Jesus Christ- throughout our congregation and our community, by being alive in Him, following Him with enthusiasm and excitement, exposing others to Him so that they might know His love, and filling the pews with people who need God's love and forgiveness. We believe in the importance of Discipleship- that we conduct the activities of our church and our personal lives so that God, in Jesus Chris, is showing to be our source of guidance and strength.

Join us for our in-person Palm Sunday service this Sunday, March 28th, at 10am and our Easter service next Sunday, April 4th, at 10am.
