Free education programs coming for 2024

As many of you know, we moved away from the proctored testing for board certification. We have been working with another organization to provide a reputable and accountable Christ-Centered clinical pastoral care and counseling program. We have several supervisors who will be dually aligned with both organizations. This affiliation will give our organization a national conference as well as assessment tools for clinical use. We will release more information once the logistics are in place and the process is complete.

Great news! For those who participated in our original testing and pilot programs and did not pass, we will be offering free classes so you can get board certified as a Chaplain. With that being said, we will give you a lifetime membership for participating in our original programs. At this time we will no longer transfer units or credits from other Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) programs. Classes will start sometime after the new year. Be blessed!

“Love is the only way to grasp another human being in the innermost core of his personality. No one can become fully aware of the very essence of another human being unless he loves him. By his love he is enabled to see the essential traits and features in the beloved person; and even more, he sees that which is potential in him, which is not yet actualized but yet ought to be actualized. Furthermore, by his love, the loving person enables the beloved person to actualize these potentialities. By making him aware of what he can be and of what he should become, he makes these potentialities come true.”

The Clinical Theology Institute of the National Association of Clinical Theology will be moving from a testing-based board certification to an education Board Certification in Spiritual Care (chaplaincy). We will be seeking accreditation in the near future for our Clinical Pastoral Education certificates in biblical and theological studies through Christian organizations.
