Peter approached Jesus and asked, "Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times? Jesus says, "No, not seven times, seventy times seven." Matthew 18:21-22

Seventy times seven is 490 times! That's a lot of forgiving to do. So we are to forgive the same person 490 times. What if that means to forgive them 490 times every day? That could compute to one act of forgiveness every three or so minutes. You could spend an entire day just forgiving someone! Maybe it's But not about keeping score as it is about losing count. And Matthew 6:14-15 teaches us that if we don't forgive others their trespasses, God will not forgive ours! What a way to get us to forgive others! Our Lord is a genius at figuring out us humans. Matthew 6:14-15"For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you; but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."
