Walk to Emmaus is found in Scripture as a life changing event. Everyone encounters Jesus at some point in life. It shifts everything inside us and it changes how we see everything outside of us. Sometimes that encounter occurs at work, at church, in a crowded room, and in the wide open nature of God's sanctuary. Here's an opportunity to seek an encounter with Jesus at an Emmaus Walk.
This is for everyone in the community. There are Men's Emmaus Walks. There are Women’s Emmaus Walks. It's a time for you to sit in God's presence no matter where you are in your faith journey.
Several have submitted application to go on an Emmaus Walk. If you would like to join them, applications are located in the old fellowship hall near the sanctuary. You can also search Alabama Emmaus Walk online to print applications. Applications will be submitted at the end of September so please return your application to the pastors office before the end of September.
