Added a platform wheelchair swing to our play yard. It’s a bit too cold for max to enjoy right now, but come SPRING!!! Or perhaps an Indian summer, he’s going to LOVE it!!

We are in the process, as many of you know, of bringing in a 12 year old Autistic girl. She was very upset about the idea of not returning to her previous foster home after 7 months in the hospital. She through a fit when she was told about the plan, which had been dumped on her without warning.

We had a meeting with the people responsible for this girl’s care on Monday, it has been decided to give her another week, having visits at our home daily. Yesterday was an amazing change; she even said she wants to come back today, wants the clock in her room that I was going to move, left there for her, and asked if the electric globe 🌎 could be put in the “empty room upstairs,” not willing to call it her room yet. She also wanted the bedroom door to stay open when she’s there so the cat could come live with her. Amazing change from hating the plan. Please keep praying.

Today’s adventure... pour the cement galoshes as footers for our playground swing. Thank you to all those who donated to this project. I should have the swings set up this week. Praise God the footings on the swing were in long enough to cure before the rain started! Only window I could see all week to get it done.
