🌍❤️ Day 2 in South Africa was full of life! ❤️🌍

The team was spread out across the village, serving in many different ways, but two major projects were completed: 👟 shoe distribution for the children and 🏠 repairing and painting the home of a widowed woman.

The children were so excited and humbled to receive their new school shoes, and the widow was incredibly grateful for the love and care shown through the work on her home. It was a beautiful reminder that even simple acts of service can make a lasting impact.

A special thank you to Brandon Novack, who had the vision to provide school shoes for all the children of Dedeni. Yesterday, that vision became a reality! 👟✨ Thank you to everyone who prayed, gave, and helped make it happen.

We also worked on several other projects throughout the day, including 🎨 painting the netball court and 🍲 helping prepare lunch alongside members of the community. What an amazing experience to serve, learn, and build relationships together.

God moved in so many ways, both seen and unseen. Our hearts are full, and we are grateful for every moment. ❤️🙌

🇿🇦✨ THE TEAM HAS MADE IT TO PORT ST JOHNS!!! ✨🇿🇦

What a day! From navigating car rentals, exchanging money in a foreign country, and traveling through the Transkei in thick fog and darkness—with plenty of livestock along the road—it has certainly been an adventure. 🚗🌫️🐄

But the Lord has called us here, and we have been sent. 🙌❤️ Every mile traveled has been worth it, and we are so grateful to have arrived safely.

Today is Day 1 - VBS! and we get to meet the children and the village! 🧒🏾👧🏾🏡 We can’t wait to see what God has in store and how He will work in and through this team during our time here.

Please continue to pray for safe travels, open hearts, meaningful connections, and that God’s love would be evident in all we do. 🙏

✈️🇿🇦 Our South Africa Mission Team is on the move! 🇿🇦✈️

Our team members left Vernal on different days to prepare for this incredible journey—some drove, some flew—but they all met up in Denver before flying together to Seattle and then on to Doha, Qatar. 🌍

With a long layover ahead of them, they decided not to spend it sitting in the airport! 😄 Instead, they explored one of the most beautiful cities in the world, enjoying a city tour 🏙️, tasting traditional food 🍽️, and taking in some breathtaking views. 📸✨

Next stop: Durban, South Africa! 🇿🇦 There they will be met by Kosi and the team from Cedar Hill Church, bringing the total mission team to 19 people ready to serve, love, and share the hope of Jesus. ❤️

🙏 Church family, please be praying for this team.
Pray for safe travels, renewed hearts, joyful spirits, and opportunities to be the hands and feet of Jesus throughout this trip. What courage and faith they have shown in answering God’s call to serve! 💛

What an incredible day at VCC on Sunday! 🙌❤️

From heartfelt worship and powerful teaching to meaningful conversations and lots of smiles, it was a beautiful reminder of what it means to be the church together.

We loved seeing families, friends, and visitors gathering to worship Jesus, encourage one another, and grow in faith. Every handshake, hug, prayer, and conversation is part of the story God is writing in our church family.

Thank you to everyone who served, welcomed, prayed, and showed up. You make VCC such a special place.

“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together… but encouraging one another.” — Hebrews 10:24-25

You all worked so hard this year and raised an incredible amount through our Feed a Village drive for the community of Dedeni, South Africa.
