The big day is right around the corner! Excited to partner and be host's to a warming center here in Vernal, Utah! It is desperately needed!!!
The big day is FINALLY here! We have a scheduled opening day for Friday, January 16, 2026 at 5:00 PM! We can also officially announce our partnership with Kingsbury Ucc! The Kingsbury congregation is allowing our organization to utilize their space to help protect the homeless people in our community from the harsh winter nights. Their support has been so wonderful, and we cannot thank them enough!
The support of the Uintah Basin community has been immeasurable, and we hope with your continued support we can make this warming center successful. One major component that will make sure our center thrives is volunteers. This first winter season, we will be completely run by volunteers. We have several opportunities for volunteers that we hope you all will be able to help with. We are also still in need of some items to help us open our doors by January 16. The items that we are seeking can be found on our Amazon Wishlist, linked here: https://a.co/aGM0Psu. We will accept items that are not directly ordered off of our wish list, as long as items are new or gently used. There are a couple of items that we cannot take used, so if you have questions, please contact us through Facebook messenger.
