The River Community Church Please join our group: http://www.facebook.com/groups/57047453690/ Why do we call ourselves The River Community?

We believe that churches ought to flow like a river and not sit motionless like a lake. People that step into a lake generally exit from the same place they entered. But when a person enters a river they will always exit from a different place; which means that they have experienced movement by the current. Our goal is to move people further along their spiritual journey than when they first entered The River.

What an incredible first Family Sunday at The River Community Church! 🎉

From worshiping together across generations to sharing laughter and making memories, it was a special day celebrating our church family. Seeing kids, students, adults, and seniors gathered together was a beautiful reminder that we are better together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make our first Family Sunday so memorable. We can’t wait for the next one! ❤️

This Sunday at The River Community Church, we conclude our sermon series, “The Unstoppable Kingdom,” with a powerful message from the final chapter of the Bible titled: “The Final Invitation.” As we gather for Communion and Family Sunday, our children will be joining us in service for worship and communion, with some also sharing special testimonies of what God is doing in their lives. It will be a meaningful morning for every generation as we celebrate what Jesus has done, remember His sacrifice, and look forward with hope to His return.

In a world filled with uncertainty and questions about the future, Revelation 22 reminds us that history is not out of control—Jesus is still on the throne, His Kingdom is still advancing, and His invitation is still open to everyone.Whether you have followed Jesus for years, have drifted from faith, or are simply searching for hope and purpose, this message is for you. Come discover what the Bible’s final words reveal about grace, eternity, and the promise that Jesus is coming again. Bring your family, invite a friend, and come expectant for a powerful morning together.

Last week, some of our pastors and leaders had the privilege of attending Foursquare Leaders Connection 2026 in San Antonio. It was a powerful week of worship, encouragement, leadership development, and connecting with leaders from across the Foursquare family.

We returned refreshed, inspired, and expectant for all God has ahead. A special highlight was reconnecting with Pastor Patty Downs-Caudill and Loren and celebrating the larger Foursquare family we’re part of.

Thank you, River family, for your prayers and support. We’re grateful for all God did and excited for the season ahead!

This week we will be studying the first of two prayers recorded in the letter to the Ephesian Church (Eph. 1:15-23), by the Apostle Paul. In our text Paul prays for every follower of Christ to receive spiritual “vision,” wisdom and insight. He prays that the "eyes of our hearts" would be opened so we can fully grasp the incredible hope of our calling, our value to God, and the amazing, resurrection power of Christ that is ours!

This Sunday, Pastor Danny will be sharing a message titled Open Doors & Opportunities from Acts 16:6–10.

During Paul’s second missionary journey, he and his companions were eager to preach the gospel, but the Lord closed doors they had planned to walk through. The Holy Spirit redirected their steps, leading them into a season of waiting and uncertainty. Then came a clear invitation from God through a vision: “Come help us!” from Macedonia.

Paul responded immediately in obedience, stepping through the door God opened. That single act of obedience led to the gospel reaching Europe and ultimately spreading throughout the world.

Join us this Sunday as we learn how to trust God’s direction, recognize His open doors, and walk faithfully into the opportunities He places before us.
