From all of us at New Season Church of Ventura, it is with heavy hearts that we honor the life of Wes Busch, who passed away peacefully at his home on February 10th.

Wes was an incredible man of God whose faith was steadfast and inspiring. As one of the founding fathers of our church, he helped lay the spiritual foundation of New Season with vision, humility, and deep trust in the Lord. He was a mentor, a faithful friend, and a true peacemaker. His wisdom, compassion, and servant’s heart touched countless lives, and he leaves behind a legacy of hope that will continue to grow through every person he encouraged and discipled.

We are forever grateful for the years of leadership, prayer, and love he poured into this church family. His impact will be felt for generations to come.

We ask that you continue to pray for his wife, Deedra, his children, and his grandchildren as they navigate this season without him. May they be surrounded by God’s comfort, strength, and peace.

A celebration of Wes’s life will be held on March 27th at 11am at Ventura Missionary Church.

He is in the hospital, battling cancer, and even in the middle of this fight, he continues to say, “I’m still fighting..” His strength is inspiring, but he needs a miracle and the covering of our faithful prayers.
