Can you really trust the Bible? It is the most published, most translated, most smuggled book in human history — and for good reason. With over 24,000 original manuscripts, fulfilled prophecy, and eyewitness accounts that people literally died to defend, the evidence is staggering.

But knowing about the Bible and letting it transform you are two very different things. Studies show that engaging with Scripture four or more times a week produces remarkable life change — less loneliness, less anxiety, more purpose, more peace.

This is not about checking a box. It is about meeting with a God who speaks, who loves you, and who wants to be known. As 2 Timothy reminds us, all Scripture is God-breathed — and that changes everything.

Does God exist? It is one of the most consequential questions you will ever ask — and you are allowed to ask it. No shame. No borrowed answers. Just honest investigation.

Creation declares something. The moral law written on your heart points to something. The longing inside you for a love that does not end, a joy that does not fade, a life that does not die — that points to something too. And that something has a name: Jesus. God did not stay removed. He stepped into the mess.

No matter how many questions you are carrying, God is not fretting about a single one. He invites them. As Psalm 19 reminds us, creation itself is already speaking. The question is whether we are listening.

Join us for our “I’ve Got Questions” series. Your doubts are welcome here.

What if your biggest questions about God aren’t obstacles to faith—but the beginning of it?
For many of us, faith can feel complicated. Maybe you’ve wondered if God is even real. Maybe you’ve struggled to trust the Bible, questioned whether prayer actually matters, are trying to figure out who Jesus really is, or have wrestled with why a good God would allow so much pain and suffering. Or it could be that you’ve questioned whether any of it matters at all. You’re not alone. And you’re not wrong for asking. We’ve all got questions. During this series at Mission, we will lean into these big questions and discover together that hope might be more real than you thought. Come curious. Come doubtful. Come as you are. And don’t miss a week of this series!

No matter how far you have wandered, the Father is already running toward you. In Luke 15, Jesus tells the story of a son who hit rock bottom, rehearsed his apology, and headed home — only to find his father sprinting down the road to meet him before he could even finish his speech.

That is what God is like. You do not have to clean yourself up first. You do not have to have it all figured out. He just wants you home.

But this parable holds a mirror up to all of us. The older brother never left — and yet his pride, entitlement, and lack of compassion kept him just as far from the father’s heart. Real faith moves us to celebrate, search for, and help bring others home.

There is hope for everyone through Jesus Christ. Come find out why.

Lost does not mean worthless. That is the heart of the story Jesus tells in Luke 15 about a woman who turns her entire house upside down searching for one lost coin. She does not stop until she finds it, and when she does, she throws a celebration.

That is exactly how God pursues you. No matter how far you have drifted, how long you have been gone, or how forgotten you feel, He has not moved on. He has lit the lamp. He is sweeping the house. He is searching for you.

And for those of us who already know that grace, our calling is clear. Love people until they ask why. We are not a yacht club. We are a life-saving station.

Catch the full message from this weekend and be reminded that you are worth finding.

What if God is not annoyed at you for wandering off — but is actually out searching for you with joy? That is the picture Jesus paints in Luke 15, and it changes everything about how we see God.

In this week’s message from our Lost and Found series, Pastor Mike walked us through the parable of the lost sheep — where a shepherd leaves 99 to go after the one. Not reluctantly. Not begrudgingly. Joyfully. God notices you, moves toward you, and celebrates when you are found.

And here is the challenge: who is your one? There is someone in your world who needs to experience that same grace. Pray for them at 1 p.m. every day. Move toward them. Keep showing up.

All of us have experienced what it’s like to lose something; the desperation, the relentless searching, the sheer panic. At the same time, we also know the relief and joy when something is found. During this series at Mission, we are going to shift our focus from lost things to lost people. This is a series where we will get honest about why it matters to be people who care for others. This mattered so much to Jesus and over the next few weeks we will learn together from His teaching just how important it is to help others find their way back home. Invite your people and don’t miss a week of this helpful series!

Are you white-knuckling your way through life, trying to control everything on your own? This week at Mission Church, Pastor Mike Hickerson unpacked why self-control was never meant to be something we manufacture ourselves — and why that approach will always fall short.

The fruit of the Spirit, including self-control, is grown through connection with God, not willpower alone. As Jesus says in John 15, no branch can bear fruit by itself. Apart from Him, we can do nothing. The same grace that saves us is available to transform us daily.

You do not have to keep running the same exhausting cycle. There is a way out — and God has not closed a single exit. Name it, replace it, share it. Freedom is not something you earn. It is something you surrender into.
