Trying to manage sin on your own is like holding a beach ball underwater... it always comes back up and hits you in the face. But that's not what the gospel is about. Jesus didn't come to help you hold it down — He came to pop it for good. The gospel isn't about how hard YOU can go. It's about what Jesus ALREADY did.

Why would anyone want to distort the Gospel? The answer might surprise you. It all comes down to one word: control.
