Full-circle moment for me.

Jim Brown has been my pastor, mentor, and friend for 14 years. Having him speak at The Bridge Men’s Night last night felt like bringing a piece of home to Florida.

More than 600 men showed up, built relationships, ate great food, competed in some “dude games,” and worshipped together. Jim challenged us through the bold and courageous life of Stephen in Acts 7.

Huge thanks to The Bridge pastors and the army of volunteers who worked hard to make the night happen.

I’m walking away fired up and grateful—especially for the time and honest conversations with my friend Jim.

We also hit the Gulf with Cliff Washburn and Alex Labrie, caught more than 40 fish, and made some great memories. Thanks to Aquaholic Charters for an awesome day on the water.

Praise God, from whom all blessings flow!

I’m incredibly thankful for the community God has built here in Florida. Eight and a half years ago we showed up not knowing a single person—and now look at what He’s done. Men and their families gathered together, fixing their eyes on Jesus, remembering the cross, worshipping, praying for one another, and stepping into a little suffering during the Passion Workout. This is real. This is Kingdom community. 26 different churches represented in this chapter of Fight Club—what a gift.
