Colossians 3:5-17
A Life That is Full IX
Rev. Dr. Richard G. Wolling

What does a life transformed by Christ actually look like? In Colossians 3:5-17, Paul calls believers to put away the ways of the old life and to put on the character of Christ: compassion, kindness, humility, patience, forgiveness, and above all, love.

In “A Life That is Full IX,” Rev. Dr. Richard G. Wolling continues our study of Colossians, exploring how a life made new in Christ shapes the way we think, live, worship, and relate to one another.

Acts 6:1-7
Meeting Needs
Rev. Dr. Richard G. Wolling

As the early church grows, so do the challenges of caring for its people. In Acts 6:1-7, the apostles respond to a real and pressing need by establishing faithful leadership while remaining devoted to prayer and the ministry of the Word.

In “Meeting Needs,” Rev. Dr. Richard G. Wolling explores how the church is called to serve others faithfully, use the gifts God has given His people, and remain centered on the work He has entrusted to us.

Colossians 2:10
Fullness of Life in Christ VIII
Rev. Dr. Richard G. Wolling

What does it mean to be complete in Christ? In Colossians 2:10, Paul reminds us that our fullness is found not in ourselves or in the things of this world, but in Jesus Christ, who is Lord over every rule and authority.

In “Fullness of Life in Christ VIII,” Rev. Dr. Richard G. Wolling continues our study of Colossians and explores the sufficiency and supremacy of Christ, and what it means for believers to live knowing that everything we truly need is found in Him.

I Kings 17:1-16
Predicting Drought
Rev. Dr. Jeremy Caskey
Peters Creek Evangelical Presbyterian Church

And Elijah the Tishbite, of Tishbe in Gilead, said to Ahab, "As the LORD, the God of Israel, lives, before whom I stand, there shall be neither dew nor rain these years, except by my word."

In this message, we follow Elijah as he delivers God's warning of drought to King Ahab and then learns to depend upon the Lord's provision himself. From the brook at Cherith to the widow at Zarephath, God provides in unexpected ways, demonstrating His sovereignty, faithfulness, and care even in times of scarcity.

The Fullness of Life in Christ VII
Rev. Dr. Richard G. Wolling
Peters Creek Evangelical Presbyterian Church

If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.

Join us as we discover what it means to find true fullness of life by living in the freedom, security, and hope that are ours in Christ alone.

Rev. Dr. Richard G. Wolling

For I want you to know how great a struggle I have for you and for those at Laodicea and for all who have not seen me face to face, that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God's mystery, which is Christ.

Colossians 1:24-29
A Life That Is Full V
Rev. Dr. Richard G. Wolling
Peters Creek Evangelical Presbyterian Church

Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am filling up what is lacking in Christ's afflictions for the sake of His body, that is, the church, of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God that was given to me for you, to make the word of God fully known.

In this message, we continue our study of Colossians by examining Paul's calling as a servant of Christ and the Church. Paul explains that faithful ministry often involves sacrifice, but its purpose is to proclaim the mystery once hidden and now revealed: Christ in you, the hope of glory. Believers are called to maturity in Christ through the faithful preaching and teaching of God's Word.

Join us as we consider the privilege of serving Christ, the hope found in His presence, and what it means to pursue spiritual maturity through the power that He so richly provides.
