Allow no worldly business to absorb your energies. Allow nothing to occupy the place that God should fill. Have periods of rest, times set apart for meditation, prayer, & spiritual refreshing. Behold Christ—the very compassion & loving kindness of God Himself. Seek Him....Never forget you are [His]...Refuse to worry about what you can't help. If you make mistakes, go to the compassionate Saviour & ask Him for forgiveness. Tell Him you want to follow His will. Remember that He cares for you. He will be a present help in every time of need. His “tender mercies are over all his works.” Open your heart & let the Saviour in. Praise Him for the brightness of His presence. Carry the sunshine of His love on your countenances & bring it into your words. Then His joy will be in us & our joy will be full. UL 142. .
