We are hosting a Lottie Moon Auction this Saturday at 5pm down stairs in the new social hall

All are welcome to come your ticket for the meal is to bring an item to put in the auction

Our younger youth class got together last night and learned more about who Lottie moon was and what impacts she had on others

They also decorated items and made others and will have a craft table at the auction with items to purchase ….. items are limited

Thank you so much to everyone who came yesterday to our 180th homecoming it was a huge success

Just a reminder:
On October 8th we will be celebrating the 180th year of Pioneer Baptist church and we will be dedicating our new building addition to the Lord. We have guest speakers, Jim Whitt, from North Carolina, Steven Cole, from Florida, Win Davis, from Dover Baptist Association coming to join us. There will be special music with Nikki and Chip Headley throughout the service. This will get started at 10:00 a.m. and last till 12:00 then we will move to the new addition fellowship hall and have a wonderful lunch. All former members, friends and family are invited. Please bring a covered dish to share. Drinks, meat and dessert is provided.

Mark your calendar and save the date on October 8th 2023 Pioneer Church will have homecoming, celebrating 180 years serving the Lord! service will start at 10 am with several guest speakers and more. followed by a fabulous luncheon in the new building which at that time will be dedicated.
Please join us on this special day and bring a covered dish to share, meat and drinks and dessert provided

There is a lot happening at Pioneer Baptist Church! September 17th is our church picnic after the worship service. This is always a fun time catching up with everyone and just sitting around talking and laughing. On October 8th we will be celebrating the 180th year of Pioneer Baptist church and we will be dedicating our new building addition to the Lord. We have guest speakers, Jim Whitt and Steven Cole coming to join us. There will be special music with Nikki and Chip Headly throughout the service. This will get started at 10:00 a.m. and last till 12:00 then we will move to the new addition fellowship hall and have a wonderful lunch. On October 19th the Samuel Clopton Area 5 group WMU will meet for a special service at 10:30 a.m. (Bring a sandwich, everything else provided) Then on November 18th we will have our Lottie Moon Auction and dinner at 5:00 p.m. Your ticket for dinner is to bring at least one nice item to auction off. Last year was a blast! Operation Christmas Child is underway, and we look forward to sending these filled shoeboxes to children around the world. This is an awesome opportunity to share the love of Jesus to thousands who have never heard the story of Jesus. November is also our Community Thanksgiving service with Hardy Central Baptist Church and Poplar Springs Baptist Church, the date will come later. Please come join us for any or all of these services. May the Lord richly bless each and every one of you.
Today brings back many sad memories and many tears as we remember the tragedy of Sept 11th. Our hearts go out to those who lost loved ones during this dreadful day 22 years ago. To many, this day will always bring heartache and sadness. As we remember this day, let is never forget that God is saddened by the evil that takes place and He loves us!
