Poplar Springs Baptist Church of the Reid community will host its annual First Sunday in May Memorial/Home Coming services starting at 11:00 Sunday May 4th, 2025 followed by a dinner in the fellowship hall. The church extends an invitation to the public and especially to anyone that has a connection to the church or community of Reid. We would love for to join the morning worship services and fellowship during the meal that follows.
Additionally, we will hold our annual Poplar Springs Cemetery Association meeting will be held in the church’s fellowship hall Sunday May 4th, 2025 at 2:00. A general meeting will be held with officer elections as well as presenting financial reports. We will have an open forum to discuss concerns and cemetery improvements.

Poplar Spring’s First Sunday in May Memorial/Homecoming - May 05, 2024 at 11:00 - Please Share!
It is with a happy heart to announce that Poplar Springs Baptist Church invites each of you to our annual "First Sunday in May Homecoming". This is a very special time of the year for all who have a connection to this historic place of worship. It is an opportunity for all to come home to reminisce and rejoice the lives of so many special people who came before us. The services starts at 11:00. There will be several individuals to bless us with their vocal and instrumentals talents as well as some reflections from some of the current and former church members.
We are so blessed to have an opportunity join together at Poplar Springs Baptist Church for a day of fellowship and to hear the word of God. Dinner in the fellowship hall will follow from some of the best cooks around. Bring your family and friends so we can continue with this time honored tradition and share it with others.
We will have a cemetery association meeting following dinner at 1:30. Please share this post with family and friends. The Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery Association of the Reid community will have its annual work day at the cemetery Saturday April 27, 2024 starting at 9:00 a.m. to clean debris and prepare the cemetery for the "First Sunday in May Homecoming". For those who have any association with the Church or the cemetery, we appreciate your help and assistance with this endeavor.
