I am super excited to announce that we will be returning to our Children's Church activities this Sunday, September 13 at Vansant Baptist Church. We will begin with Sunday School activities at 10:00 am and continue with Children's Church during the morning service. Things will look a little different, but we will strive to show the love of Jesus as always.

Before entering the Sunday School classrooms, temperatures will be taken for the kids and the adults in that class. We ask that everyone please wear a mask and practice social distancing, unless you are from the same household. We will have separate containers with pencils, crayons, markers, scissors and glue, so that our children do not have to share. We will have hand sanitizer to sanitize as much as possible. If parents allow, we would ask that you let your children remain in the class between Sunday School and Children's Church. We are attempting to limit the exposure of the kids to different people. However, if you wish for your child to attend the beginning of worship service, that is ok as well.

Children's Church activities will look much the same as Sunday School with a few changes. Temperature checks will be taken before entering class. Anyone who is in the classroom will have to have a temperature check (including all adults). We will continue to provide a snack and drink (individually packaged only). We will maintain social distancing during our time in the classroom. Masks will be worn at all times. We will not be going to the gym after children's church, but remaining in the room until services are over we release the children to parents. As a precaution, for the next couple of months, we will be using the same teachers on a monthly rotating basis.

I know these sound like lots of restrictions, but we are doing our best to keep the safety of all our precious kiddos first at all times. We will be having lots of fun, just in a different way than we may be used to. First and foremost, we will be learning about Jesus and how to spread His love among others.

While we are away from each other and not able to meet in person for Sunday School, Children's Church and AWANA, I encourage each of you littles to listen to these songs and learn the Books of the Bible. Since the weather forecast is showing some beautiful weather this week, I thought we would do a fun project to get us outdoors and learning some scripture in our Bibles. I am posting an outdoor scavenger hunt for all of you to enjoy with your families! Look up the scriptures in your Bible and then locate the item outside. You can take a picture of the item and then send to me in a private message or post to the group. I want to see how many items you can find and how many of you participate. Outdoor Bible Verse Scavenger Hunt

Open your Bible to find the verse which will provide the clue. You can use this list to do a traditional
scavenger hunt of collecting or observing. You could also do a photo hunt and take pictures of the items
