I see a Josiah generation rising.
Young men and women who carry a zeal for the Lord that cannot be extinguished.
A generation that will not wait until they are older to walk in authority.
Who will not wait until they have a title, a platform, or a position before they say yes to God.
Who will be young, but they will not be immature in the things of God.
Josiah was only eight years old when he became king, yet God used him to bring reform to a nation.
He was young, but his heart was turned toward the Lord.
And I believe we are entering a season where God is raising up young Josiahs, sons and daughters who will carry revival, confront compromise, tear down idols, and restore what has been neglected.
They will not be ashamed of holiness.
They will not apologize for loving Jesus.
They will not be embarrassed by the Holy Spirit.
They will not need the approval of culture because they have been marked by the presence of God.
Our sons are going to burn white hot.
Our daughters are going to burn white hot.
There is a fire coming upon this generation that cannot be manufactured by hype, music, or entertainment. It will be the fire of genuine encounter with God.
The prayer rooms are going to fill with young people.
Altars are going to fill with young people.
Worship services are going to be interrupted by young people crying out for God.
Young men will lay down their addictions, their distractions, their compromise, and their pursuit of the world because they have encountered something better.
Young women will discover that their identity is not found in the approval of culture but in the presence of their Father.
And the fire will not stop with our sons and daughters.
I see grandparents praying, parents contending, and children and grandchildren stepping into the flames of revival.
What one generation carried in prayer, another generation will carry in demonstration.
The fire is crossing generational lines.
Joel said, “and it shall come to pass afterward
That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your old men shall dream dreams,
Your young men shall see visions.”
This is not the time to write off this generation.
There is a generation being awakened that will not be satisfied with church without the presence, Christianity without the cross, or religion without the fire.
They are hungry for the real thing.
They are looking for something authentic.
They are searching for a God who is alive, and He is going to reveal Himself to them.
Here come the Josiahs.
Here come the young reformers.
Here come the young worshipers.
Here come the young preachers.
Here come the intercessors.
Here come the evangelists.
Here come the prophetic voices.
Here come the ones who will carry revival into their schools, campuses, workplaces, churches, and communities.
They are young, but they are dangerous to the kingdom of darkness.
The enemy thought he could have this generation, but God says, “they belong to Me.”
The enemy thought he could disciple them through culture, but God is raising up fathers and mothers who will disciple them in the ways of the Kingdom.
The enemy thought he could extinguish the fire, but God is breathing on the embers again.
And what begins as a spark in a young heart is going to become a wildfire across a generation.
They are awakening.
They are arising.
They are burning.
And they are coming with fire.
