Father God, we love you so much.
And as we continue our worship here today, we want to recognize you, Father God, as our creator, our giver of all things, our great blesser, and how much we need you, God.
We dare not take a step forward in our life and in our day without you, without recognizing you as our big need.
And Father God, as we just celebrated our teachers of our kids today, and through Lighthouse Kids, we also recognize you as our giver of our country and of our leaders.
We pray for our leaders, not just leaders now, but all of our leaders, past, present, future, that they will do and serve honorably and that they would make decisions that would lead us and keep us close to you. the God of Abraham, of Moses, and of course the deliverer of the gospel through Jesus Christ that gives us salvation.
We dedicate ourselves to you, Father God, individually, as a church and as a country.
Let us live for you forever.
In Jesus' name we do pray.

What would you do if you were beaten and thrown in prison for doing good? Paul and Silas chose to sing praises to God at midnight while locked in stocks. Their response to injustice wasn't anger—it was worship.

Their praise shook the foundations. An earthquake freed them, but they stayed. Why? Because a jailer's soul was at stake. That night, he asked the most important question: "What must I do to be saved?" The answer: "Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household." And they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their wounds; and he was baptized at once, he and all his family. (Acts 16:31-33)

It's always the right time to praise God—in the fire, in the blessing, and even in the prison. Your faithfulness in hard times might be exactly what someone else needs to see to find Jesus. Who's listening to your life today?

This powerful story from Acts 16 reminds us that it's ALWAYS the right time to praise God. When things are going well, it humbles us. When life is hard, it lifts us up. Their praise didn't just free them—it saved their jailer's entire household. He heard their worship through the prison walls and asked, "What must I do to be saved?"

People are watching how you respond to hardship. Your faithfulness in difficult times might be exactly what someone needs to see before they ask you about Jesus. Like that jailer, they're listening without listening—until the moment they're ready to be saved.

Are you ready to praise God in every circumstance? Your worship might just change someone's eternity.

What a beautiful reminder that our children are precious gifts from God! Last week we celebrated our newest additions and reflected on the sacred responsibility of raising them in faith.

From the moment of conception, each life is created in God's image with immeasurable value. Psalm 127 reminds us that "children are a gift of the Lord" - not burdens, but blessed responsibilities. When we dedicate our lives and our children to following Christ, we're investing in eternity.

The best testimony isn't always the dramatic comeback story - it's the child who grows up never knowing a day without God's presence. Let's commit together to raising this next generation in truth, showing them that life is always better when lived for the Lord.

Parents, you're not alone in this journey. We're here to support you, pray with you, and help point your children toward heaven. What greater goal could we have than to one day celebrate together in eternity?

Why are we here? God answers: 1) To glorify Him and enjoy Him, 2) To be active in His church—the body of Christ, 3) To reach the lost. When we live with this purpose, we find true fulfillment. Don't just exist—live intentionally for God's glory.
