If you have an apprentice or friend who is interested in starting a small group, this Sunday is the day for new leader’s orientation (December 13, 2009) . It will be during first service in the Jacqueline Room. You can have them email me to RSVP, or sign up for the New Leader’s group on the small group website, http://www.dlwc.org/content/view/48/138/.

It is that time of year when we make plans for January and the next Rally Weekend. Rally Weekend is January 17th, so in advance of that date, we need to collect your small group proposals and update the website. Please take a moment to fill out this form. You can type on it and email it back to me, you can fax it to the church, you can drop it at the Connection Center, or you can scan and send me the pdf version. I just need you to take time to fill it out. On the site, many of you have emails or phones that have changed, etc., and we are striving to keep that information as current as possible. If you are stopping your group, please write that on the form.

Just a reminder that our 2nd of 3 Rods 'n Rides events will be this Sat., Aug 29. This is a key outreach at Living Word and is an opportunity that we need all of our leaders engaged in. This event is about drawing the lost, loving the people, and letting them know that Living Word cares about them. Most importantly, we serve a God who cares deeply for them. Let's make Rods 'n Rides the coolest outreach possible.
