Our Five Mountains Catholic Community is proud to honor Fr. Temo as he celebrates the 25th Anniversary of his Ordination to the Priesthood.

For twenty-five years, Fr. Temo has faithfully answered God's call, serving the Church with dedication, compassion, and a shepherd's heart. Through his ministry, countless lives have been touched by his witness to Christ, his care for God's people, and his commitment to proclaiming the Gospel.

We are grateful for your faithful service, your joyful witness to Christ, and the many ways you have enriched our parish communities through your priestly ministry. May God continue to bless you abundantly as you begin the next chapter of your vocation.

Joyous feast of Pentecost! We hope everyone has a safe a blessed Memorial Day weekend. Please join us Monday, May 25 for 9:00 a.m. Mass at St. John's Cemetery in honor of our fallen service members. Our parish office will be closed for the holiday. There will be no 7:00 p.m. Mass with Adoration and confessions.

Join the Hispanic community for Mass and a Holy Hour with praise and worship this Friday, May 22 as we prepare to commemorate Pentecost.

Then, on Sunday, May 24, following the 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Masses, witness a live-action performance of the birth of the Church with the descent of the Holy Spirit on the apostles.

Thank you to those who came out last Saturday for the annual "Spring Spruce-Up" at St. John's Cemetery! The grounds are well trimmed, the statues are polished, and you all finished in time before the rain fell.

As part of the Consecration of the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, parishioners are invited to participate in a shared spiritual journey. This preparation, which concludes on June 14 with Mass and a parish family picnic, will begin with a presentation by Catholic author and recording artist, Julie Carrick. There are two options for attending: 10:30 a.m. (beginning with 9:00 a.m. Mass and continental breakfast) and 6:30 p.m.

The morning session will be livestreamed for those who cannot attend in person. Please join us for this special event, and to kick off this spiritual journey of offering ourselves and the country to the loving embrace of Christ.

The Knights of Columbus are accepting applications for their Fr. O'Shea Scholarship Program. High school seniors who are active members of St. John the Evangelist and looking into either at 4-year university or Jr College or trade school are welcome to apply. A copy of transcripts is required along with a record of extracurricular activities and a tulyped essay. Applications may be picked up in the parish office.

Kids, we hope to see you all with your families at Mass this Easter Sunday! And why not stick around afterwards for an Easter Egg Hunt? The Knights of Columbus are hosting their annual egg hunt for children after the 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Masses this Sunday, April 5. Don't forget to bring your Easter baskets!

This Friday at 3:00 p.m., join St. John's for "Viacrucis" a reenactment of Christ's passion and death by members of our Hispanic community. This event is presented is Spanish.

Stations of the Cross in English will be held inside the church at 12:00 p.m. At 7:00 p.m., please join us for the Liturgy of Good Friday with Veneration of the Cross.
