Amen!

I hope you feel this today, especially if you’ve spent far too much of your life trying to make sure everyone understands your heart.

You don’t have to keep explaining yourself to people who have already decided what they want to believe. You don’t have to chase anyone to prove you mattered to them. You don’t have to keep shrinking, fixing, smoothing things over or carrying someone else’s version of you around like it belongs to you.

There comes a point where you’re just tired.

Not bitter. Not angry. Just… done spending precious pieces of your life trying to be understood by everybody.

God knows.

He knows what you meant when the words came out wrong. He knows the parts of the story nobody else saw. He knows what you regret, what you’ve changed, what you’re still working through and who you are when nobody is watching.

And goodness, there’s something so peaceful about finally letting that be enough.

So I hope you live today. Really live it. Drink your coffee while it’s hot. Laugh loudly. Love your people. Notice the sky. Wear the thing. Say no when you mean no. Stop checking whether everybody approves.

You have a life in front of you.

God knows your heart. You’re allowed to go live it. ❤️

And if these words felt a little bit like someone reached into your own head and wrote down what you’ve been feeling, maybe someone you love needs them today too.
