The world says "live like you're dying" - but Jesus says "live like you're going to live FOREVER."

This Sunday's message challenged us with a powerful truth: we're not just preparing for retirement, we're preparing for eternity. James 4:14 reminds us that our life is but a v***r - here one moment, gone the next. Yet we spend decades planning for earthly comfort while neglecting our eternal destination.

Abraham lived in tents because he knew this world wasn't his permanent home. He was looking for a city whose builder and maker is God. The question isn't whether we believe in eternity - it's whether we're LIVING for it. Are we investing in what lasts forever, or chasing temporary treasures that will burn with fervent heat?

Heaven is our home. Let's live like it. Every act of obedience matters. Every sacrifice counts. Every prayer echoes into eternity. Don't wait until your last breath to get serious about your soul.

James 4:14 reminds us that our entire life is like a v***r—here today, gone tomorrow. Yet we spend decades preparing for retirement while neglecting eternity. We decorate temporary houses while ignoring eternal souls. This world isn't our home. We're pilgrims passing through, headed toward a Kingdom where there's no death, sickness, tears, or goodbyes.

Real life begins when self dies. The cross isn't about getting what we want—it's about surrendering to what He wants. Every decision matters. Every act of obedience matters. Because one day, we'll stand before God, and only eternity will matter.

Don't live for the next paycheck or vacation. Live for the moment you hear Him say, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." Your future isn't in a grave—it's with Jesus Christ.
