Last night’s message on UNHEALED WOUNDS by Pastor Charles-Chuck Wells at Revival Weekend ministered to so many people, including myself.
Here are several signs I compiled that may reveal if you are carrying an unhealed emotional wound and unintentionally “bleeding” on others:
1. You overreact to minor offenses.
2. You assume the worst about people’s motives.
3. You constantly need validation.
4. You push people away before they can hurt you. You sabotage relationships, build walls, or withdraw emotionally to protect yourself.
5. You make others pay for what someone else did. A spouse, friend, pastor, or coworker ends up carrying the consequences of wounds they didn’t create.
6. You struggle to celebrate others’ success.
7. You live in a constant state of offense. You are easily hurt, easily angered, and frequently feel misunderstood.
8. You keep revisiting old hurts.
9. You find it difficult to trust anyone.
10. You are highly critical of others.
11. You seek revenge rather than restoration.
12. You are emotionally exhausted all the time. Carrying unresolved wounds requires tremendous emotional energy.
13. You repeat the same unhealthy relationship patterns. Different faces, same drama.
14. You cannot receive correction without feeling attacked.
15. You use anger to cover deeper pain. Often what appears to be anger is actually hurt, fear, rejection, or disappointment.
Last night, we didn’t have the largest crowd, but altars were packed from side to side, with people receiving real and supernatural healing from open wounds!
The truth is, 💥WHAT ISN’T HEALED WILL EVENTUALLY BE REVEALED. 💥
Unhealed wounds don’t stay hidden, they often surface in our words, reactions, relationships, and decisions.
JESUS WANTS TO HEAL YOU!
