🍂🎉 FALL DER ALL FUN! 🎉🍂

What a great time we had at Van Alstyne's Fall Der All!

Our Family Church volunteers showed up ready to have some fun, love on our neighbors, and connect with our community! ❤️

We set up co****le at our booth, enjoyed some friendly competition, met some wonderful new families, and had the opportunity to share a little about Family Church!

But the best part wasn't the games. It was the conversations, smiles, new friendships, and opportunities to connect with our neighbors! 🥰

At Family Church, our mission is loving our neighbors and welcoming them into God's family. Events like Fall Der All give us another opportunity to live out that mission right here in Van Alstyne!

A HUGE thank you to our amazing volunteers who gave their time to represent Family Church and show our community some love! 🙌

We love Van Alstyne, and we're grateful to be part of this community! ❤️

There’s something so special about seeing our youngest kids learning about Jesus!

From their sweet smiles and contagious laughter to the joy of discovering God's love, our Kids Ministry is full of life!

At Family Church, we believe you're never too young to begin growing in your faith!

We're so thankful for our amazing volunteers who pour into these kids each week, helping them learn that Jesus loves them and they are part of God's family!

We lost electricity during worship yesterday. But guess what? Christians were worshiping Jesus long before Thomas Edison invented the light bulb. Worship was a little different, but there was still joy in the house of the Lord!

No electricity, still electric! God is good all the time!

Sermon Notes from yesterday

Hey, Fam! (And friends!) Nick here…

As I mentioned this morning in service, our Night of Worship event is coming up in a few weeks. I’ll be providing devotional guides over the next few weeks leading up to the event, one for each of our three doctrines: redemption, gratitude and adoration. Read each one daily, treating each day as a fresh read. And you may choose to listen to the songs referenced in each, as the content ties closely to the songs. (And you’ll have a head-start on the music for the NoW!)

Finally, there is a prayer guide included that I pray will help prepare your heart for encountering His Holy Spirit as we worship Him together.

Here is the first guide: Redemption: blood, grace, and the humility that follows a finished purchase.

Devotional #1 for our November 5th Night of Worship. Redemption is a buy-back. The word does not mean improvement, and it does not mean God decided to look the other way. It means a price was paid to release someone who could not pay it himself. Paul puts the mechanism in one sentence and does not s...
