Stop trying to be perfect before coming to God. Scripture doesn't teach that we clean ourselves up and then approach Him; it teaches that we come boldly to the throne of grace because Jesus has already made a way. Growth happens in His presence, not apart from it, and His strength is made perfect in our weakness.
