We are gearing up for DAY FOUR of VBS … trusting Jesus in this WILD world! Last night, we learned that when we are powerless we can still trust Jesus. He can hold all of our problems and worries.

A BIG God sighting from last night is a HUGE donation from the parents of some of our campers! They have offered to match our collection for Operation Christmas Child all the way up to $2,500!

Look in the bottom of your hiking boots and sleeping bag for any loose change to donate to reach our goal and we will see you tonight at 6:00!!! 🐾🫎🦦⛰️

Dear VBS Families,

We have been monitoring the weather closely, and at this time it appears that the potentially dangerous weather is expected to stay south of our area. Therefore, we WILL be holding VBS as scheduled this evening.

That said, the safety of your family is most important. If you are uncomfortable traveling due to weather conditions or would prefer to stay home, please feel free to do so.

We will continue to monitor conditions and communicate any changes if needed. Please check your email one more time, prior to coming to church tonight for any last minute changes.

Night one of VBS was a hike through the wilderness. Our campers had fun playing games, looking up our Bible verse Matthew 7:24, experimenting with compasses, and learning about John the Baptist. Our main point was that even when we wonder, we can still trust Jesus! He is big enough to hold our questions. Join us for night two tonight. Comment below for more information!

Hello, KidsPointe families! In case you missed it this past Sunday, we kicked off our Summer Faith Challenge - "S'more Scripture" memorization! We are called to hide God's Word is our hearts (Psalm 119:11), and obey His commands (Prov. 4:4). His Word is alive and active and sharper than a double-edge sword (Hebrews 4:12). It is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, training, and equipping us for good work (2 Tim. 3:16-17). Each week, the elementary students will be challenged to memorize a verse of Scripture.

This week, we're memorizing Psalm 119:105. Any kids who can recite it to the teacher on Sunday, June 14th gets an extra sticker on the chart! Activity booklets to aid in memorization are available outside the elementary classroom! Happy memorizing!

KidsPointe Families! We are excited to kick off our new series "In the Beginning" this weekend. Here's a brief overview:

"Take a moment to pause and get a closer look at the amazing world around us—trees, oceans, animals, and even you! What’s even more amazing is that it was all created by God, for God. From the beginning of time, God created everything with care and purpose, showing incredible love for all of creation—especially us. The best thing we can do is give that love back by taking care of the world God has given us. In this 4-week series, kids will learn that God made the world and everything in it, we are made in God’s image, God made a plan to save us, and God helps us make good choices!"

Also, remember we're only meeting at 9:30am for the summer! We hope to see you Sunday!!
