We can think too higly of ourselves or too poorly of ourselves.
The Gospel uses the perfect measure for people and helps us see the truth.
And the truth is we need Jesus to redeem us and show us the way.

We are blessed to have power and we will be meeting at our normal worship times on Sunday.
Bible study - 9 am.
Worship - 10 am.
Evening worship at 5pm.

We are thankful for the work that our local and visiting utility workers have done for our NWI communities.

As disciples we honor our King as holy and stand ready to confess our faith (1 Peter 3:15).
Like the widow who found her lost coin (Luke 15:8-10), we tell others about our joy in Christ.
No disciple is unqualified to tell others about Jesus.

We are told that Caleb was "a man of a different spirit" (Numbers 14:24).
We need to be people of a different spirit as we journey toward our Canaan. If we follow the rest in disbelief we will be left behind in the desert of sorrow and sin.
The choices may be a struggle and a fight but the benefits will last forever.

Join us for our annual VBS starting tomorrow morning and continuing through next Wednesday ... and it's not just for kids!
We'll be studying "Great Escapes."
Stories and lessons of God saving His people.
Lessons include the Exodus; Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; Daniel and the Lion's Den; Paul and Silas escaping from jail; and the Resurrection of Jesus.
