As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church was truly blessed by a wonderful day of worship, reflection, and awareness. Our congregation proudly wore green in support of mental health awareness, demonstrating our commitment to encouraging hope, understanding, and compassion within our church family and community.

We were honored to hear heartfelt and informative words from Sis. Joy Burton Heard on the importance of mental health awareness and the need to support one another through life's challenges. We were also blessed by Bro. Ramon Harris as he ministered through song with a powerful rendition of "Anchored in the Lord," reminding us that no matter what storms we face, our faith keeps us grounded and secure.

As this month ends, let us remember that mental health awareness is not just a monthly observance but an ongoing commitment to caring for ourselves and one another. We thank God for allowing us to celebrate this important cause and for the many blessings shared throughout today's service.

Today, we honor the heroes who gave their lives defending the freedoms we enjoy each day. Their courage, dedication, and selfless service will never be forgotten.

As we gather with family and friends, let us take a moment to remember those who paid the ultimate price and pray for the families they left behind.

Today, we celebrated both Pentecost Sunday and Mental Health Awareness Month in a spirit of worship, unity, and gratitude.

On behalf of Pastor Corey Huguley, Sr. and the entire Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church family, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us in fellowship and worship. Your presence helped make this day even more meaningful as we gathered to honor the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and recognize the importance of mental health and wellness within our communities.

We truly enjoyed the service, the fellowship, and the opportunity to worship together. Thank you for choosing to spend part of your Sunday with us. We pray that you were encouraged, uplifted, and blessed by the experience.

May God's grace, peace, and favor continue to rest upon each of you throughout the week ahead. We look forward to worshipping with you again soon!

Pastor Corey Huguley and the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church family would like to thank Pastor Rampey and the Mt. Springs Baptist Church congregation for inviting us to celebrate your 159th Church Anniversary.

We truly enjoyed the fellowship, worship, and warm hospitality shared throughout the service. It is always a blessing when churches can come together in unity, love, and praise.

We pray God continues to richly bless Mt. Springs Baptist Church with many more years of faithful service, growth, and ministry within the community. Congratulations again on 159 years of Kingdom work!

Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church truly experienced a beautiful moment as we hosted our “Beulah, Alabama” Kentucky Derby Celebration for the Women of PHMBC, hosted by the Men of PHMBC.

From the moment the doors opened, you could feel the love, fellowship, laughter, and unity flowing throughout the building.

The food was filled with good ole Southern flavor, but the greatest part of the day was being able to honor and celebrate the longtime pioneers of The Hill. Looking around the room and seeing generations together was a reminder that PHMBC is built on faith, strength, sacrifice, and genuine love for people. That legacy still lives strong within our church walls today.

We're especially thankful for Pastor Huguley, Dea. McCulloh, and others for being there during the early morning hours helping prepare and set up. True servants lead by example, and that was clearly shown.

Also, fascinators and hats off to (Deacon in Training) Bro. Wynton Turner for all of his hard work behind the scenes throughout the weeks leading up to the event and in helping prepare, even though he could not physically be there. Your dedication and love for PHMBC never go unnoticed.

To our Young Women, thank you all for participating, showing love, and presenting gifts during the celebration. Your presence added such a special touch to the event. To Sis. Tammy Floyd, thank you for spearheading the decorations for the event. It was lovely!

Thank you to Joy’s Sweet Treats and Catering for working alongside the Men of PHMBC to help prepare, set up, and serve such a wonderful brunch meal.

Events like this remind us that PHMBC is more than a church — it’s family. A church filled with people who care, people who serve, and people who love one another wholeheartedly.

As Hebrews 12:1 reminds us, we must continue to run this race with patience and endurance while carrying the legacy of those who came before us.
