What a blessed Sunday it was at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church! We were overjoyed to officially welcome Deacon Alphonso Burton as an active Deacon of the PHMBC ministry.

He received his placement and was voted in by the congregation, and we are truly grateful for his willingness to serve God and His people.

A heartfelt thank you to all of the family members, friends, and our PHMBC congregation who were there to show your love and support. We are excited about what God has in store as Deacon Burton continues serving in ministry.
To God be the glory!

What an AMAZING worship service we had yesterday! 🙌🏾

A special thank you to Pastor Huguley for taking the time to pray over and cover our students, teachers, administrators, custodians, paraprofessionals, bus drivers, cafeteria workers, and everyone who plays a part in educating and caring for our children.

As we enter the 2026–2027 school year, we are praying for God’s protection, wisdom, strength, patience, and favor over each and every one of you. May He cover you as you travel, walk the hallways, enter the classrooms, and fulfill your assignments each day.

And a BIG thank you to everyone who showed their SCHOOL SPIRIT by wearing their school colors and paraphernalia! We loved seeing all the different schools represented “On the Hill!”

We are so thankful to have a church that believes in covering our children AND those who pour into them! Also, thank you to Nehemiah Floyd for words of encouragement to our youth from a young man/student perspective. Words well spoken!
