With deep sadness, we share the passing of George Varughese (77), a founding member of Calvary Faith Tabernacle. George was a faithful servant of God and a strong pillar of our church, faithfully carrying both the spiritual and administrative responsibilities of the ministry for many years. His wisdom, dedication, and unwavering support have left a lasting impact on our church family.

While we grieve his loss and will greatly miss his presence among us, we do not grieve without hope. We take comfort in God’s promise of eternal life and rejoice in the assurance that George is now in the presence of the Lord he faithfully served.

We ask that you continue to keep his family and our church family in your prayers during this difficult time. Please see the flyer for details regarding the viewing and funeral services.

It is with profound sorrow that we inform you that George Varughese (77) went to be with the Lord this morning at his home.

George was a pillar of Calvary Faith Tabernacle and a source of strength, encouragement, and support to many families around the world. His faithful service, love for the Lord, and care for others have left a lasting impact on countless lives.

Please keep Mariyama Varughese (Lilly), the entire family, and the church family in your prayers as they navigate this time of shock, grief, and immense sadness.

Details regarding the funeral and other services will be shared later.

We are grateful for your prayers, support, and words of comfort during this difficult time. As believers, we take comfort in the hope of the resurrection and God’s promise of eternal life.

Sacrifices are not to be forgotten! Thank you Jesus for the spiritual freedom we experience through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and the freedom that we experience as a nation because of the sacrifices of the brave men and women in the military.
