Additionally I have started a teaching Grove, The Guardians of Elysium. This Grove and its teachings are a part of the Chthonian Tradition of Traditional Witchcraft with an emphasis on the Greco-Roman Pantheon. The Grove will be teaching general classes which will be held on or around the Full Moons starting in February. Those curious about our Tradition are welcomed-specific details to follow shortly-As always all classes and rituals associated with The Chthonian Tradition and the Guardians of Elysium are free of charge.

When possible for all future classes and rituals we need people to start r.s.v p. Ing here , or through email or phone. It's very hard to plan without some general sense of who is coming, and there have been a few classes in the past that seemed to generate interest but when the day of the class came no one showed up. So please try to let us know a few days in advance whether or not you can make it out of respect for my time and energy. Thank you all, and I m sorry if the tone of this post seems aggressive..

Monday June 20th we will be holding a class on the symbolism, history, and power of the eight sabbats that create the wheel of the year and how to use them to tune into the power of nature..additionally this class will be followed by a Full Moon Ritual where we will seek to manifest our positive desires for growth prosperity and productive change in our lives. Start time will be 7pm, admission for the class and ritual will be $15 per person, but as always pay what you can..no one will ever be turned away or looked upon poorly for being unable to pay. All are welcome, we hope to see you there. The location will be our normal temple space at 66 midwood street in valley stream, ny 11580..pm for directions. Blessed be.

To the Ancient Celts, as well as many others, twilight was a sacred place and time. In twilight, which essentially represents any in between place, the doors to the otherworlds are open. Yet the true mystery is learning to find twilight within ourselves for from the inner twilight we are able to touch all the worlds and shape their very substances.

All seasons have their proper time, the death of the leaves in autumn is a part of the sacred circle. We Witches see the cycle and embrace all aspects of the sacred wheel. To seek to stop the circle from turning, maintaining a false and continuous spring is to live out of synch. Many see loss and change in their lives as a symptom of something being wrong, when, often it is all a part of the cycle of life. To fear the dark, the violent, the need for death, is to be incomplete. Living out of harmony with the Wheel is the root of evil, not death and darkness, but improper action.

February 14th, a Saturday, will be our first class of the secular new year. "Seeking the Mysteries of the Runes". This class is the first if three on the topic and will explore the basics of using the Elder Runes for divination and magic. Cost for the class is $15 a person, time is from 430-630.
