ST. PAUL STREET EVANGELIZATION
BASIC EVANGELIZATION TRAINING WORKSHOP
Do you want to learn how to share your faith in a
non-confrontational and joyful way? St. Paul Street
Evangelization has mobilized thousands of Catholics
to fully participate in the work of the New
Evangelization through its workshops. That doesn’t
mean you have to become a street evangelist.
However, our previous popes, including St. Paul VI, St.
John Paul II, Benedict XVI, and Francis, have
consistently emphasized that it is the responsibility of
every Catholic to share their faith. The workshop
focuses on basic evangelization methods that
anyone can use to share their faith with their
family, friends, neighbors, etc. With that in mind, St.
Martin of Tours in Valley City, OH, is hosting St.
Paul Street Evangelization to lead their sevenevening Basic Evangelization Training workshop
on successive weekly evenings, starting on April 23
and ending on June 4, 2026, from 6:15—8:30 p.m.
This event is sponsored by the North Central Ohio St.
Paul Street Evangelization Teams. The cost of the
workshop is free and includes in-person training
and materials. For additional information and to
register, please pick up an additional information
sheet and sign up at the parish office no later than
Sunday, April 12 and/or call Timothy Garrity at 216-253-
0002.

Feelings come and go.God doesn’t.

There will be moments when prayer feels quiet…when nothing seems to be happening…when you wonder if He’s even there.

But Scripture reminds us:“We walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7)

God is not limited by your emotions. He is working in the unseen, in the silence, in the waiting.

Challenge:Don’t quit just because you don’t feel something.Stay. Trust. Keep showing up. Because sometimes the deepest work God doesis the work you don’t feel at all.

Our Parish

Committed to Jesus Christ and strengthened in faith and love we strive to further His Kingdom for the glory of God. Since its foundation in 1840, the Catholic community of St. Martin of Tours has cared for one another and its neighbors. Our parish is set in a beautiful rural area of northwest Medina County that extends into eastern Lorain County. The spiritual and sacramental care of the people in the parish is entrusted to a pastor as its own shepherd under the authorization of the Bishop of Cleveland.
