WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN OBEYING GOD PUTS YOU IN HARM’S WAY?

In his powerful sermon, “Walking With Jesus,” Pastor Danny Jefferson challenges the assumption that following Jesus will always lead us into comfortable and predictable places.

Jesus told His disciples to get into the ship and go to the other side—and their obedience led them directly into a life-threatening storm.
They weren’t in trouble because they disobeyed.

They were in trouble because they obeyed.

Sometimes walking with Jesus will take you into unexpected places, uncertain situations, and storms you never anticipated.

The question is not simply, “How did I get into this storm?”
The deeper question is: “Can I still trust God when obedience takes me somewhere I never expected to be?”
🔥 Walking With Jesus means trusting Him—even when the path of obedience leads through a storm.
