How are you giving thanks today?

"Now Thank We All Our God", number 102 in The United Methodist Hymnal, invites us to consider what we have received from God, and how we might proclaim our gratitude. Surprisingly, the words for the hymn were written amidst struggle and want, as Martin Rinckart and his family were refugees during the Thirty Years' War (1618-1648).

Heartbreaking news continues to come from Nepal following devastating flooding west of the Kathmandu Valley. Over 500 lives have been lost, hundreds remain missing, and families are facing immense grief and loss.
In a letter from Katherine Parker, conference missionary to Nepal, our global mission partners at the United Mission to Nepal (UMN) are on the ground responding:
Immediate Aid: Partnering with local teams to deliver rapid relief to 1,000+ affected families in the Dhading District.
Long-Term Support: Planning recovery efforts for local schools in the Nuwakot region.
How We Can Help
Pray: Lift up the affected families, rescue teams, and partners providing aid.
