Overpopulation and Toxic Overemphasis on Procreation
Our world can only permanently sustain between 1 and 2 Billion people at our current level of resource consumption and pollution. We are over 7 people now--many times that sustainable limit.
Additionally, all of our economic models presume continued population growth. This pits two bleak futures against each other--either economic collapse or biosphere collapse. Neither sounds very appealing to me.
How did we end up here? Patriarchy.
The patriarchy is a hierarchical system which justifies the aggregation of wealth by a very few people at the top by exploiting the labor of the masses. The broader the base of the masses, the greater the potential for wealth extraction.
Women's reproductive capacity is harnessed for economic purposes. The patriarchy views us as livestock.
The more serfs, servants, slaves, and soldiers, the greater the potential for wealth creation, extraction and aggregation.
To more quickly multiply their livestock, the patriarchy yokes all s*xual expression to procreation. Any type of s*xual expression that cannot result in procreation will be vilified and criminalized.
This is why the patriarchy:
- Seeks to criminalize abortion
- Seeks to criminalize birth control
- Seeks to criminalize homos*xual activities
- Seeks to criminalize heteros*xual activities that cannot result in procreation
- Seeks to minimize and normalize r@pe.
WE ARE NOT LIVESTOCK!
The Children of Lilith values s*x as more than procreation. S*x is a normal, healthy activity between consenting adults. Our rules around s*x are relatively simple and straight forward.
- Treat all people with compassion and respect.
-- Obtain enthusiastic consent.
-- Seek to educate yourself so as to provide s*xual pleasure to others.
-- Do not spread disease to other people in your community.
-- Do not deceive people with regards to your intentions.
-- Do not emotionally manipulate people.
-- Do not shame people for having different s*xual needs than you.
- Be honest, so far as your behavior is anybody's business.
- Honor your commitments. And, when you fall short, be honest and make amends.
We equally accept and value all forms of s*xuality that adhere to rules above.

Monogamy
Polyamory
As*xuality
We also accept and value all form of gender identity and expression.
Choosing s*x for pleasure, on whatever terms please you, is a radical act which undermines the patriarchy.
