O merciful God, we bless you for the gifts on this table. We praise you for all your mercy given to us each day.
We beg you now, O Lord, to gather all the world’s outcasts to such a table of mercy that all may see in you their prayers answered, and all may be welcomed at your table; through Christ our Lord. Amen

Good morning y’all! Just want to show the September dates for Recover Together. We will have a meeting this Tuesday and then on the 15th. Going to attempt to do these twice a month as long as I am off work. Please share so we can get the word out and try to reach anyone who may be struggling. Anyone affected by addiction is welcome here, there is something for anyone who has been hurt by this terrible disease. Have a beautiful week!

O Lord, you have saved us from drowning, you have given us food for life. We worship you, for you alone are God. We beg you now for those who hear only silence; may you speak life to them also, that all the world may be saved through your mercy and might. Amen

While the power is still on there are no telephone or internet services currently at the church. Power is out at the post office. It appears that utility lines are down due to some sort of accident on the Lincolnton side of the USPS-Vale.

O God of the feast, you feed us all with loaves and fish; we eat and are satisfied. For this we bless you, O Holy One. But hear us now, O God: there are still so many who hunger, who have not reached your feast. Bring all the poor to you, that they may eat and be satisfied; through Christ our Lord. Amen

Children’s time during homecoming worship today as Ann’s great-granddaughter sat in the lap of Bishop Hartner before becoming restless. Such a wonderful day filled with worship, food, fellowship, friendship, recollections, all sustained and empowered by God.
