d save the lost” and to encourage and build up one another (Luke 19:10, I Thessalonians 5:11). A secondary goal is to provide an opportunity for individuals and congregations to personally participate and work in various capacities on the foreign mission field as we are instructed in the great commission (Matthew 28:18-20). Our missionaries fulfill a great task in coordinating the efforts which take place during a campaign. All campaign participants must send in a completed registration form and be approved by the Forrest Park elders. An online application is available inour LAM Media Webpage. Since travel is outside the continental United States, a current, valid passport is required. Also, be certain your passport does not expire within six months of the date of your arrival in the foreign country. Immunization requirements vary depending on where you are going. Please check with your local physician for recommended shots. You will need to bring enough clothing, toiletries and other items for the time you are on campaign. There may be limitations as to how many pieces of luggage you are allowed to bring. Consult your campaign information package for further information. Expenses to participate on a campaign include an airline ticket, team expenses, and some food and lodging costs. Costs vary depending on the location, number of workers from the United States and Latin America, and type of campaign.
