Greenwood is a well established church in Valdosta, Georgia, with a history of serving the Valdosta area for the past 40 years. Continuing in the traditions set forth many years ago, Greenwood is constantly striving to reach this community for the Lord Jesus Christ through sound Biblical preaching and teaching, Sunday School for all ages, traditional but dynamic worship services, and activities fo

Have you ever stopped for a moment and thought about just how beautiful God’s love truly is?

He is always faithful.
He is there when people aren’t.
He comforts you when the world hurts you.
He holds you close when your heart feels heavy.

And through every season, His loving arms are wrapped around you protecting you, carrying you, and reminding you that you are never alone.

Today, pause for just a moment. Quiet your heart and thank Him. not only for the prayers He has answered or the blessings you can see, but simply for being there through every single moment.

What a beautiful gift it is to be loved by a God who never leaves.

Sometimes we can find ourselves walking blindly in the dark and wondering if God is even with us. If you’re facing what you would call a dark season – one of grief, loneliness, anxiety, or hopelessness. Let me reassure you, the same God who formed the stars holds your hand, even in the dark!

Look up at the sky and be reminded that hope is real; it is a hope that does not waver through trial or storm. It is a hope anchored to the sure and steady rock of the God of Heaven.

God meets us in our darkest pain and teaches us hope. God can take even the bad things and, in the proper season, turn them around and use them for good in the way He intends.

We all have been through times of suffering and certainly didn't see much beauty in them,

But If you are in the will of God, no matter how dark your situation may be, remember this: God has a plan, God has a purpose, and God will make everything beautiful in His time.

God does not go back on His word. Our faith can't be based on what we feel. It has to be based on what HE says.

Feelings come and go, but His word does not. His promises are true yesterday, today, and forever. Every believer will go through a time of testing where they must choose to believe what God says over what they see or feel.
It's part of learning to walk by faith. He is faithful. When you can't trace His hand, you can trust His heart.

Be still. Be patient. Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep the faith.

Sometimes, we stand at a crossroads, afraid that one wrong decision could change everything. We pray, we think, we cry, and we search for answers but still, we don’t know what to do.

But those are the moments when we must remember that we may not know the way, but God does. When we cannot see what lies ahead, He already knows the road we are about to walk.

So when you find yourself uncertain, don’t be afraid to pause, pray, and surrender your decision to God. You don’t have to have all the answers. You just have to trust the One who does.
