No Wed. night services tonight due to severe weather threat.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT SERVICE CANCELLATION NOTICE
DUE TO SEVERE WEATHER THREAT TODAY / TONIGHT

Here is the severe message from Town of Valdese

Strong storms and associated high winds capable of knocking down trees, powerlines and causing minor roof damage are forecast to affect our area beginning this afternoon, through tonight. With the strongest storms coming during the night time hours.
Citizens should take time to prepare their homes before the effects of this storm system arrive.
Secure all outside items such as lawn furniture, trash and recycling containers and any additional items which might be blown loose by the high winds.
Citizens are reminded of the following:
-to keep informed of all hazardous weather in the area
-stay away from downed powerlines and or trees which have blown over onto powerlines.
-should an emergency be witnessed, citizens are urged to contact 911.

Beginning September 7th, Faith Depot will be on the Fast Track! Join us for this 8-week walk through the entire Bible! With creative teaching methods and easy-to-draw memory icons each week, this class is a great chance to learn the whole story of the Scripture, either as a refresher or for the first time! We won't be having Wednesday night services this week, but join us next Wednesday night (January 6th) at 6:30pm as we kick off our January Bible Studies. Adults will begin "Sent" with Pastor Brett in room B104, the youth will be meeting in the Youth Room, children will join Alex Semande in the Kidmo room for "Stellar," and preschoolers will pick up the Gospel Project again in the Lil' K room! Join in!
