Dear Cornerstone Family

We would like to thank Teresa Mosley for her passionate faithful service to the Lord and our church family as a part of our staff for almost 19 years. She has led us in worship through the piano as well as leading the choir and congregation in music. At this point her health challenges have made it necessary to step aside from serving on our staff. We pray that God will continue to use Teresa as a part of our choir.

The Deacons recommend that we call Beth Walker as our Music Director. Beth is a lifelong Burke Co resident. She has experience working with choirs and praise bands. She has sung in the Burke Chorale and the Hickory Choral Society. Beth says “I love directing a choir, looking at the faces of the choir members as they worship through the music and leading a congregation in the beautiful songs that I love.” Beth is the business manager for Branstrom Financial Wealth Management in Morganton. Beth will lead choir practice this Wednesday May 27 and the worship service next May 31 after which we will vote on this recommendation.

Please join us in thanking Teresa for her service and in prayfully considering this recommendation for the future of our music ministry.
