Dear Lord, I find myself here in the quiet stillness of this moment, watching the sun stretch across the floor while the world outside keeps moving on without me.

Teach me to see this space not as a frustrating delay or a gap in my progress, but as a holy pause where I can finally rest in Your presence.

Help me to lay down my restless urge to be somewhere else, my need for instant answers, and my fear that this time is being wasted.

Remind me that the most beautiful growth often happens in the silence of the soil, long before the first green shoot breaks through the surface.

Give me a heart that is patient, gentle, and deeply aware of Your Spirit moving in the slow rhythms of this ordinary morning.

I surrender my timeline to Yours, choosing to believe that Your delays are not Your denials and that You are working even when I cannot see it.

Let this room become a sanctuary where I offer up my anxiety and receive Your peace, turning my anticipation into an act of worship.

In Jesus name, Amen.
