Amen let Him mold you, humble yourself!
𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐑𝐔𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆
Before the oil flows… something must first be broken.
There is a side of anointing that many admire—but few are willing to endure.
We celebrate the oil.
We honor the power.
We desire the presence.
But we often ignore the process.
Because before oil ever flows… there must be a crushing.
🌿 The Hidden Process Behind the Oil
In the natural world, olive oil does not come easily. The olive must be pressed, crushed, and broken until the oil is released. Without pressure, there is no oil. Without crushing, there is no anointing.
In the same way, God does not casually pour out His anointing on a life that has not been prepared.
The crushing is not punishment—it is preparation.
It is in the crushing that:
Pride is broken
Self-reliance is dismantled
Hidden motives are exposed
True dependence on God is formed
God is not trying to destroy you—
He is removing everything that would contaminate the oil.
📖 Biblical Pattern: Crushing Before Calling
Look through Scripture and you will see a pattern:
Joseph was crushed in betrayal, slavery, and prison before he stood in authority.
David was hunted, rejected, and tested in caves before he wore the crown.
Moses spent 40 years in the wilderness before leading a nation.
Even Jesus Christ—the Anointed One—entered the garden called Gethsemane. The word Gethsemane literally means “oil press.”
Before the cross… there was the crushing.
Why God Allows the Crushing
The crushing is where your character is aligned with your calling.
Many want power—but without process.
Many want influence—but without intimacy.
Many want to be used—but resist being shaped.
But God is not looking for vessels that are just gifted—
He is looking for vessels that are surrendered.
Anointing without crushing produces pride.
Crushing without surrender produces bitterness.
But when crushing meets surrender—
it produces oil that carries the presence of God.
The Pain You Don’t Understand
There are moments in your life where you feel:
Pressed on every side
Misunderstood and overlooked
Broken by situations you didn’t choose
And you ask, “God, why is this happening?”
But heaven answers:
“Because I trust you with the oil.”
The pressure is not random.
The breaking is not wasted.
The tears are not unseen.
Every crushing moment is releasing something deeper within you—
a purity, a humility, a dependence that cannot be produced any other way.
✨ The Oil That Flows
When the crushing has done its work, something begins to flow:
A prayer life that is no longer shallow
A faith that is no longer fragile
A voice that carries authority, not just words
A presence that reflects Christ, not self
This is the oil.
It cannot be faked.
It cannot be manufactured.
It is born in the secret place—
in the crushing.
🙏 Final Thought
Do not run from the crushing.
What feels like breaking…
is actually becoming.
God is not trying to harm you—
He is preparing you to carry something holy.
Before the oil comes…
there must be the crushing.
Declaration:
Lord, give me the strength to endure the crushing,
the humility to surrender in the process,
and the grace to carry the oil for Your glory.
One-Line Takeaway:
If you want the oil, don’t resist the crushing.
Call to Action:
God is preparing vessels in this season.
Are you willing to go through the process?
Comment “AMEN” if you’re ready for both the crushing and the anointing.
