David was sent by his Father to deliver food to his brothers who were on the front lines of battle in a time of war. David found himself facing a Giant with the only weapon and protection he had; the Name of The Lord of Hosts and a Slingshot. David faced the Giant, declared or prophesied what God was going to do, partnered with God in executing the battle plan, and won the battle.

I hear the Lord say, “ When I send you out to do what seems like a mundane task, you may find yourself on the front lines of a battle facing a Giant. I send you in My Name with My Power and Authority to use what ever I put in your hand to take down the Giant. I use the simple to confound the wise and the weak things of the world to put to defeat those things which are mighty in the world. I have prepared you ahead of time to face the Giants. Trusting in My Name and standing in My Power and Authority will turn your simple, weak slingshot into a POWERFUL weapon that will take the Giants down. Go! It’s time to take the Giants down.”

I Corinthians 1:27
But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;

2 Corinthians 10:4-5
The Weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God to pulling down strongholds, casting down vein imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.

1 Samuel 17:45-46, 50
Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
50 So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and struck the Philistine and killed him.

THERE IS SOMETHING IN THE WATER..THAT MAKES ME WANT TO LAUGH

I hear a song in the Spirit “There is a river whose streams make Glad the City of our God. And I will rejoice and be Glad.”

It just made me giggle as the joy of the lord bubbled forth from me!!

I heard the Lord say, “ There is a River whose streams make glad the City of God. Rejoice and be glad. Lift your voice and sing. Out of your heart flows these streams. Believe as the scripture says! Believe My voice and rejoice! I am in the midst and you will not be moved. Rejoice! Rejoice in Me today and you will not be moved. You have the victory!”

Let the River of the Holy Spirit overtake you today .. and Rejoice and Be Glad!!

Psalms46:4-5a
There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High. God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved;

John 7:38
He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”

FOREVER CHANGED IN THE PRESENCE OF A HOLY GOD.

I was sitting in church and glanced down and saw a stone on the floor. How odd? No other stones… just this rather large stone.

The Holy Spirit brought back to mind an experience or encounter I had with the Lord many, years ago while sitting in my living room. A leader I knew had fallen morally and I was praying.

I was shocked at the situation. I remember thinking, “If this person could fail anyone can. “ It put a Holy fear in me to draw near to the Lord.

Suddenly I was caught up in the Spirit and found myself in a time of history where the women who was caught in adultery was brought to Jesus.

It was like I was there walking by and witnessing this event. Suddenly I was feeling the religious indignation or outrage of the Pharisees ready to stone the women.

Then, as I continued to be an eye witness to this account, I began to feel the shame, fear, exposure, condemnation, and such of the women.

Suddenly, I felt the full impact of the pain, betrayal, the anger of being lied to, the relationship being violated, the broken hearts of the people closest to the women; the friends, family members,…

Then, my eyes locked on Jesus. All the agonizing pain, betrayal and such I was feeling a moment ago lifted off as I began to feel love and Peace come over me. Suddenly, compassion filled me as the Lord reminded me of His love and compassion for me as Jesus saved me out of my sinful state, bringing me into His Kingdom and Baptizing me in the Holy Spirit.

I began to weep uncontrollably with COMPASSION.

Then, I was back in my room.

I was forever changed by this experience, seeing things through the eyes of Christ, remembering from where I came, tend to the issue in my own heart first, casting my cares upon the Lord, receiving healing, and wisdom to navigate the situations rather than throwing stones, posturing myself in a place of humility, and walking worthy of my calling.

As I sat in Church staring at that Stone, I heard the Spirit of the Lord say, “ Are My people being imitators of Me or the Pharisees? Are My people caught up in a mess and feel there is no way out or are they feeling devastated, violated, angry? “

Before I could answer Him, I heard the Lord say, “ Come to Me!”

Matthew 11-28-30
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Hebrews 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Ephesians 5:1-2
Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

Ephesians 4:1-8
I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with long suffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

People who choose not to rock the boat because of the backlash they might face, are themselves chained to the oars of their own timidity.

Freedom comes as we pray for Boldness!!

Pray and watch God shake your circumstances breaking those chains, impart BOLDNESS and move you to speak the Word of God boldly!

Acts 4:31
And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

In the middle of the Shaking and shifting God is immovable! He can’t be shaken!

I heard the Lord say, “ Be found standing on Me. I am a firm foundation. Be a hearer and a doer of My word and you will be found secure, strong, wise, and standing.”

Matthew 7:24-27
Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

“But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

Be Found standing on the Solid Rock of Christ Jesus today!

WHO WILL GO

I heard the Lord say, “Who will be bold and courageous to speak My Word? Whom should I send? Who is willing to go? Who will be strong and courageous to speak the good news of salvation or heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons or raise the dead? Whom should I send and who will go?”

Isaiah 6:8 - "Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: 'Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?' Then I said 'Here am I! Send me.'"

And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.- Matthew 10:7-8

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
John 3:16-17

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,- Romans 3:23

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.- Romans 6:23

That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.- Romans 10:9-10

For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.- Romans 10:13
