TONIGHT! TONIGHT! TONIGHT! Summer Kickoff Youth Ministry Bash!
School's out and summer is here! All teens in grades 7–12 are invited to join us for our Summer Kickoff Youth Ministry Bash on Monday, June 15th, from 6:30–8:00pm at the Seton Center.

We'll be taking the fun outdoors with a cookout, bonfire, s'mores, yard games, music, and plenty of time to hang out with friends old and new. Whether you've been coming all year or have never attended before, this is the perfect night to jump in.

Bring a friend! This relaxed, fun-filled evening is a great introduction to our youth ministry community. Everyone is welcome.

While June 15th will be our final regular Monday night gathering before the fall, youth ministry doesn't stop for the summer! We'll continue to offer special events throughout the summer, including our biggest youth ministry event of the year: Totus Tuus (July 12–17).

Totus Tuus is a high-energy Catholic summer program led by a team of joyful college-age missionaries. The evening program for teens features games, music, inspiring talks, small-group discussions, prayer, Eucharistic Adoration, and opportunities to build lasting friendships with other teens from across the Greater Utica Area. Many teens describe Totus Tuus as the highlight of their summer.

Come celebrate the start of summer with us and learn more about all the great things ahead!

In all things, reverence becomes visible not through grand ideas, but through ordinary practices. The Rule teaches that holiness is found in how one treats the next person, the next task, the next tool, and the next psalm. Reverence is the art of treating everything as it if matters because, according to St. Benedict, everything does.

What an incredible evening!
Our first-ever Parish Ministry Tailgate & Volunteer Appreciation Night couldn't have gone any better. It was a night filled with joy, laughter, fellowship, community, and faith as parishioners gathered to celebrate the many people and ministries that help make Mary, Mother of Our Savior Parish such a vibrant community.
A special word of gratitude to our Men's Club for their outstanding work helping to facilitate the event and to the many parish ministries that participated and shared the story of their service with our parish family.
More than anything, the evening was a beautiful expression of gratitude—for the countless volunteers, ministry leaders, and parishioners whose generosity helps bring our mission to life every day. It was also an opportunity to strengthen friendships, build new connections, and celebrate the bonds that unite us as one parish family.
Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, cooked, served, organized, and helped make the evening such a success.
One Parish Family.Many Ministries.Countless Blessings.

Magnifica Humanitas
Adult Faith Formation Series: A Crash Course on Pope Leo XIV's New Encyclical

Join Fr. Pawel Zmija for a three-week introduction to Magnifica Humanitas, the newly released encyclical of Pope Leo XIV. In this landmark document, the Holy Father reflects on the dignity of the human person, the call to authentic human flourishing, the challenges facing families and communities in the modern world, and the Christian response to an increasingly technological and fragmented culture. Rooted in Scripture and Catholic social teaching, the encyclical offers a hopeful vision for renewing faith, strengthening relationships, and building a more just and compassionate society.

Tuesdays, June 16th, 23rd, & 30th at 7:00 PM (Seton Center).

No pre-reading is required. Whether you regularly read papal documents or are simply curious about the Pope's newest teaching, this series will provide an accessible overview of the encyclical's major themes and practical implications for everyday Christian life. Come deepen your faith, engage in meaningful discussion, and discover how Pope Leo XIV's message speaks to the opportunities and challenges of our time.

All are welcome!

Over the past several weeks, many parishioners have experienced the inconvenience caused by the disruption in our printed offertory envelope system. While we have worked to provide temporary solutions, the situation has also highlighted an important truth: the mission of Mary, Mother of Our Savior Parish continues every day, regardless of circumstances.

The work of our parish extends far beyond what takes place during the hour we spend together at Mass each weekend. Every day, your parish is proclaiming the Gospel, celebrating the sacraments, accompanying families through life's joys and sorrows, forming children and adults in the faith, supporting those in need, and creating opportunities for people to encounter Jesus Christ.

All of this is made possible through the faithful stewardship of parishioners who believe in the mission of the Church. When giving is interrupted whether because of travel, illness, weather, family obligations, or even challenges with printed envelopes the impact is felt immediately. The ministries of the parish continue. The lights remain on. The pastoral team continues serving. The doors remain open. The mission moves forward.

This is why online giving has become such an important part of parish stewardship.

Online giving through Shelby Giving provides a secure, convenient, and dependable way to support the parish. More importantly, it helps ensure that your commitment to the mission of Mary, Mother of Our Savior Parish remains strong and consistent throughout the year. Whether you are at home, away on vacation, traveling for work, or unable to attend Mass for a time, your support continues uninterrupted.

For the parish, recurring online gifts provide stability and predictability. They allow us to plan more confidently, invest more effectively in ministry, and focus our energy on serving people rather than managing administrative challenges. They also reduce printing and postage expenses, allowing more of our resources to be directed toward evangelization, faith formation, worship, youth and young adult ministry, and pastoral care.

I personally use online giving because I believe in leading by example. It is simple, secure, and provides peace of mind knowing that my support of the Church continues every week. I invite you to prayerfully consider joining me.

The recent envelope disruption reminded us that the mission of the Church is too important to depend upon any single system. Online giving helps ensure that the work Christ has entrusted to our parish remains strong, stable, and supported for years to come.

Thank you for your continued generosity, your prayers, and your commitment to our parish family. Together, we are building a vibrant Catholic community that is forming disciples, strengthening families, sharing the Gospel, and welcoming all.
