Congratulations Marie DeArment on winning this beautiful fall wreath made by Bordines at our October 14, 2021 meeting. Next month, November 18, is Tag Night at 7pm. This is the evening where we prepare all of the giving tree tags for the Christmas trees placed in our church.  We can use all the woman power possible for this evening. Hope to see you there!

Peggy from Bordine's in Rochester gave us helpful and practible tips on keeping our succulent plants alive and healthy. We each made a dish garden to take home. Peggy brought with her the pots, dirt, plants, pebbles, and fairy decorations.

Tag Night was very well attended this year. With 19 organizations and over 1800 tags to prepare we need help of many volunteers. We always walk away knowing we are doinf a small part to make someone's Christmas brighter. This year we were able to hang the tags on the trees in Church and the Gathering space that night.

Guest speaker Carrie Wood, founder of Pearls of Great Price Coalition, spoke about human trafficking. This is becoming a topic in media recently and Carrie informed the large group in attendance that if we ever see anything suspicious that we should never try to intercede, start up a conversation, but just pay attention to the people conducting suspicious activity and the victim-maybe take pics with your phone, and call national hotline at 1-888-373-7888.
